What You'll Learn
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate LA from Conventional Acupuncture: Recognise Laser Acupuncture as a non-invasive, painless, and sterile therapeutic modality utilising low-intensity, nonthermal laser irradiation on acupoints.
- Apply Pain Protocols: Identify and execute specific LA protocols using key acupoints which demonstrated to be efficacious in mitigating pain in 2 to 5mins.
- Explain the Neurophysiological Impact of LA: Understand how LA helps shift the autonomic nervous system (ANS) into a parasympathetic state ("rest and digest" mode) to promote healing, reduce stress, and improve airway maintenance, especially relevant in sleep disorders.
- Integrate LA into Workflow: Determine appropriate LA parameters (e.g., required dose/energy, short treatment duration of 5–10 seconds per point) and incorporation strategies for addressing chronic pain (as a "chronic pain detective") and breathing-related sleep disorders in a healthcare clinic setting.
- Using advanced diagnostics such as Capnometry and Biofeedback to assess breathing efficiency alongside LA treatment.
